Steampunk inspiration...shadow box,for 7Dots challenge...




Good evenining my friends!!





Have you seen the latest challenge in 7Dots with Steampunk inspiration from the DT ??
Oh, i'm totally in love with the theme and the new creations...I tried to do something different this time, so that you won't be boring by my works..
Took my 7dots papers and sticker ''Fortune teller '' collection and Scrapiniec shadow box and distressed it sooo much...Added some Prima and Finnabair embellisments among with that gear and bird chipboards  and ta raaaaaa....




 I was inspired by the power of children, to shake up the world... I believe, they are the future of the planet and their vibrant spirit can change our lifes in the fututre...

Altered fairy gift box, for Scrapiniec .



Hello dear friends !!

 I'm here again ,with an altered box today. I wanted a gift box for my daughter's teacher, a brachelet and i thought i could altered a tea box i liked much.Covered with many 7Dots papers and Prima flowers along with 13arts stencil and Lindy's mists-magical powders.



























Fist i cutted the squares, distressed the edges and placed gesso and glitter to shine.The result was great!!Some mists, magical powders and stamps gave a depth on my square papers.
For my chipboards i used bright mists to color them like yellow,pink,green and blue.

Delight...For 7dots studio.


Hello everyone!! Today i have my post for 7dots studio to show.

Fall has come,so did my inspiration...September is the month for kids (back to school,new start etc) so i was inspired by them and reaching goals of happiness.

Seeing the two New Collections of 7dots-Cotton Candy Dreams and Writers Block-, made me so happy and can't wait to get them.This time i played with my ''Homegrown'' collection which i loved...I compined two papers after cutting them in half, with my hands and distressed, Flirty and Happy..Stars up,flowers down!







 Used   the Poppy Pod Stencil, tags,stickers, leftover papers to create a beautiful layered background and some flowers that goes with the picture's colors.Added microbeads,watercolors,clear stamps ''Homegrown'' collection too,a stars flair from ''Homegrown'' collection also and glitter.















Hope you find some inspiration on my page and can't wait to see you on our challenge...

Circus theme,for Scrap Africa...



Hello dear friends....

Today I will share with you, a circus theme lay out...Life is a a bizarre journey and some times we have to live it to the endge or making rediculous or even dangerous things ...

Our next sketch challenge in Scrap Africa
 reminded me of a scrapberry's forgotten paper I had and matched perfectly here....

Altered military canvas bag for Mixed Media Place.


Hello everyone!!

Today i have a mixed media altered item for Mixed Media Place to show, a military bag made of a heavy-strong canvas fiber... to hide some scrapbooking stuffs in there...My husband came home from work the other day and said ''Hey Eirini i have this military bag and air force pin banges,do you want them or shall i throw them in trashes??'' ''NO..of course not , sweetie...theses goodies are valuable to me...''i answered.You should watch his face..he he he...He must have thought...Crazy woman...
Here it is before...and after the transformation...



So,first i used some Prima  Heavy Gesso with an Alphabet Prima stencil on my background, Lindy'smists acrylics and powders then.Glew down some laces,2 old painting brushes, a key hunging from a screw nail i made myself, air forces pins,metallic ellements which i had to place either by sewing them or by making them pins, in order to stay firm,a butterfly painted with mists and acrylics etc.Gesso again and stamping.Then started the fun part...Coloring and glowing all my tiny details( glass beads in a mix of gesso, gel medium and glass glitter - micro beads all Prima).




 The difficulty here was that i had to sew them, so that they won't go away when i lift it.The canvas fiber  is a hard matterial to sew..But the result was good,so it worthed the effort.
