First lay out as a DT member in Scrap Africa....

Hello hello , dear blogers!!!

I have the most  wonderful news ever!Yes it's true , i'm in the Design Team of Scrap Africa challenge blog with so many talented ladies, creating for at least a year...Thank you so much Denise van Deventer !!!I'm very honoured and pround to join this dream team!!!

So this is my first lay out for the challenge, having the following sketch as a guide....

This is my project and i hope to insire you in any way. It's about ''Remembering our roots''(our language, music culture, civilization , traditions etc)expressing with an allegorical way with my photo. We lose our identity due to multicultural way of life.I'm a bit mixed media lover , so i couldn't do less than this.I used one photo and two parts of tags(up and down).For the frame i used the fantastic  7Dots   chipboard  ''Soulmates ''  and most of my elements are also 7Dots . Flowers and stencil are Prima and... Gesso, gel medium, mists, microspheres and mika flakes 13arts.Voila....

Good evening my blog friends!!Today i'm very happy to show you a new lay out i made as a Creative Guest Designer in Words and Paintery about freedom.First of all i want to thank ladies there and especially Marie Johansson for the great honour and opportunity to be in this super talented team.Girls you're great!!

Then i want to tell you something about my lay out.When i'm tired or pissed off or ungry or or or.... I walk away and go to the sea(i'm lucky i live in the island of Crete in Greece where sea is very near he he he).That's my way to freedom.I bealive sea has a magical way to calm you and inspires you finding ways to solve problems or to be creative.After all sea was the way to find a New World...America !!My freedom is sea... When i'm deep in it, i feel like i'm totally alone and free,  discovering a new world.The sound of the bottom of the sea in my ears, make me understand my  inner soul.When i walk by the sea in the freeze water, my mind gets free and my body is refreshed.

Look at the wonderfull colour palette now....Isn't that great?My favourite colours!!!

Some details....

The papers as you probably have understand are 7Dots and the mists are Lindy's Stamp Gang. Gesso, primer and gel medium are 13 Arts which are my favourites and i love them.Some of my flowers are prima and were a gift from Keren Tamir .Thank you sweety again!!!

And with this lay out , i want to celebrate my Guest, entering Scrap Around the World challenge with this wonderful  moodboard.

I was inspired by the colours, the flowers, the sea behind the ice cream and the female element.Also the cone of ice cream and the heels looks like my star fish's surface  and stencil's prints .The top of the glass inpired me to use microbeans and elements with strass.

For this lay out i used some Lindy's Stamp Gang  sprays such as Pop Rock Purple, Cafe au Lait and medieval-gold. They have a wonderfull moodboard and colour combo too , that i couldn't resist playing...

Finally i loved that new challenge in  C'est magnifique kit challenge with this awesome sketch which i turned like a mirror for my lay out. Where the bridge is, i took my boat in the photo.

A retro... selfie !!!

Hello everyone!!!

I'm back again, with a new lay out.A retro one.This time i saw three challenges which inspired me to create the following page.I could't resist to 13arts challenge about selfies (even though i'm not a selfie fun- i think i'm old enough to take myself pictures here and there) when  i saw a video tutorial about metallic background by Olga Heldwein and i wanted to try it!!

Then i came across  to a retro challenge in  Srap Africa challenge blog with this awesome colourful

 moodboard!!!It was about time i  used some bright and  vivid colours....

Finally i couldn't decide how to put the pinterest selfie photo i liked in my page .....so i looked at  sketchabilities sketch #139 and problem was solved!!!



I tried to combine all these three challenges in one project and the result is ...ta raaaaa

For my page, i used 13arts products like gesso ,modeling paste, gel medium, mika flakes, microspheres, splash(for the first time ever..) metalic colours and of course my favourite... favourite mists!!!

Casa Batllo....Modernistas !!!

Hello dear bloggers!!!I have the most amazing news ever...

First of all , i'm going to be a Guest Designer in  13Arts for the months Sept-Octob-November!!!Isn't that great!!!Thank you Aida for believing in me, and giving me such a huge opportunity join in the dream team of 13Arts...

Secondly i'm a guest designer in  Words and Paintery Challenge blog next month.Thank you ladies and mainly thank you Marie Johansson for the great offer!!

Finally , i won on randon givaway that Keren Tamir took place and she send me so many goodies!!!Thank you Keren Tamir again, for the generosity of your soul. You're so sweet and talented lady.I' ve used some of them in my new lay outs!!!

Now,on the subject...I am presenting to you my new lay out about Casa Batllo in Barcelona....It's the most amazing and strange building i've ever seen in my life!!!I've been there for my  honeymoon.And i loved it...Inside is more bizarre and eccentric than outside...The chimneys are outstanding too.Antonio Gaudi is consindering to be  the most important architect of the previous era.They called him "Modernistas" and so he was...

So when i saw the subject of 7Dots studio challeng blog about Rainbow, i thought of Antonio Gaudi multicolour art. I've always wanted to do something about him...And that was the opportunity for my desire...Inspired by his technique using nature elements in his monuments, i used egg shells(he he isn't that funny!!) in order to fit the photo in my background.And watch how the chipboard of 7Dots matches with the balcony!!!Like soulmates??he he..Anyway here we go...

Then i saw that challenge in http://scrapki-wyzwaniowo.blogspot.gr/ about Bubbles and i tried to combine these two challenges in one project!
